This week we had the wonderful opportunity of welcoming our new Chaplain, Father Metzler, to the Nolan Catholic family. After spending his summer in Ghana, Father Metzler returned home with stories full of insight and wisdom regarding human suffering, God’s love, and the joy we can encounter when living the faith. Hence his first homily focused on justice and injustice, gratitude, love for Christ, and how our community can grow closer in holiness.
After Mass, Father Metzler called on each one of us, starting with the students, to stand to receive his blessing for this new academic year. He also blessed our teachers, our staff, and our school leaders.
Father Metzler plans to bless our campus next week. So keep him in your prayers.
Thank you, Father Metzler, for your spiritual leadership!
