Ten NCHS students earn National Merit Commended status!

Last October, more than 1.5 million students took the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Of those 1.5 million students, 34,000 students nationwide are being recognized as Commended students based on their exceptional academic promise.

Ten of those students are seniors here at Nolan Catholic, and we are so proud to recognize them for their academic achievement today.

These students, according to the National Merit Committee, “represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as their continue their pursuit of academic success.”
